The English Report of ‘Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana: Maharashtra: An Evaluation Report’, authored by Mukta Kulkarni, Kedar Deshmukh and Genjumon Prasannan, published by ‘The Unique Foundation’ was officially released by Dr. Neelam Gorhe (Deputy Chairperson, Legislative Council, Maharashtra) in a virtual policy dialogue conducted on 12th January 2022. After the official book release, Kedar Deshmukh presented the main findings of the research report along with the key recommendations. The guest speakers at the dialogue included Shivajirao Shejul (Farmer, Beed District), Pooja More (Youth Leader, Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatna), Prof R. Ramakumar (Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai), and Dr. Ajit Navale (State Secretary, All India Kisan Sabha). The dialogue concluded with the keynote address delivered by Dr. Neelam Gorhe.
